Our book was the arrival and it had no words.
We had to go over it a few times to understand what was going on. The arrival was about an immigrant that went to a different country and couldn't understand the language that they were talking, also for no reason there was lots of eyes on buildings. Mr Edwards chose this book because he thought it was very challenging. He also picked it because it would intervene with lots of other subjects.
Although we didn't change classes like we usually do for maths we stayed where we are and did some facts about immigrants. We wrote a bar chart about the list of immigrants and rounded it and some of us did a pie chart.

In art we did some amazing drawings of made up creatures. We each used our wildest imagination to design and write about weird animals. Each one looked great and we worked hard. Diet, habitat, likes, dislikes, and habits.
