Literacy 

In literacy we have been writing about story's from different countries and we have read Ali Baba and the fourth thief's. We have written a recap of the story from a different characters point of view. This is Francesca work.         Reading     We are reading Skellig which is our class book. It is about a boy finding  a frail man in the garage. 

  Science.      In science we have done a  experiment where we put a cup in a bowl of salt water with a piece of plastic attached to the top of the bowl and pebbles on top so it directs the water to the middle and then the condensation drops  into the cup creating drinkable water.

Maths      We have been learning about  3D snaps and their properties. In Mr Edwards maths group are looking at the perspective. Recently we have done BODMAS and column method.

This week in maths we have been learning many different things, from treasure hunts to long division.

In literacy we have been learning about stories from other cultures for example: the pearl diver, 

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Scherezade.  so far we have been identifying differences between nowadays and the storyies, but we can tell its only going to get better from here.

(Joe): I think the week as gone very well , also it has been very fun
